    Re: Recommendation for NEW TOY?

Out of your list I would pick the Infinity. Not listed I would go with the 06 Cadillac CTS-V (not sure why I would recommend that...?). 06 has the LS2 vs. the LS6 (some people prefer one over the other, but they're very comparable in terms of power). 06 also has the upgraded rear diff, and audio buttons on the steering wheel. 06 and 07 are revised versions of the 04 and 05, but all are considered 1st generation.

It's a fun car that you don't see many of (at least I don't see many) on the roads, it takes well to mods, and is a blast to drive.

OK OK, I may be a little biased toward the V....

    Depends what you are into...

In a straight line, the terminator is going to dust all of the cars listed. I personally do not like Hondas. I like power down low too. I dont like reving the car so high to get any inkling of power out of the engine. Adding FI to a non FI motor just... will always cause problems.

No replacement for displacement. Especially when there is boosted displacement

Pontiac. They will hold high re-sale value if you keep them in great condition since Pontiacs will not longer be available. Oh yeah, gas guzzler. LOL

GTO's prices keep dropping, regardless of the fact that they don't make them anymore.

S2000. If you want to drive hard on a daily basis, it will take the beating. If you have not driven one, and I'm guessing most who commented on it have not, give it a chance. A low 14 second quarter mile is right on par with mustang gt's, and the s2 will still run tomorrow. And that's not it's intended purpose. If you are not a good driver, it may not be the best choice.

I am partial towards verts. If you are looking towards a car that is fun and might have potential collector status, look at the Pontiac Solstice Coupe. Fun car for the twisties and might be highly collectible as there were only a few hundred made before GM axed Pontiac.

Talking Re: Recommendation for NEW TOY?

I know of two vehicles for sale and they are not cheap one either. Also, down here, Lambo Doors are done WAY TOO OFTEN. The valley is a BIG copy cat place. Once something new comes out, every body does it.

    2003 SVT Cobra Convertable - Around 700HP

    2005 Nissan 350Z - well over 400HP - Supercharged

The Nissan Dealership owner owns it. They want me to detail it but, I'm sitting here waiting for them to give me the thumbs up. Also, the banner stuff has been removed from the vehicle. The Z just sits outside 24/7.

Would have been better off with a twin turbo setup

Those graphics that were on it were terrible. Good to see them being ripped off lol.

    Re: Recommendation for NEW TOY?

Go with a M3.I know its not on your list, but it should be. BMW makes the best driving machine. I have a 330xi AWD and I love it. Before that I had a 440hp built WRX bugeye which I loved, but looking back I would have bought a 01-04 M3. For what its worth...
