Can you guys give me a quck clue in on the new pads. The new thing that came out were the MF pads...thats where I left off.

Care to give me a quick rundown of what to try first?

Try to attend one of our Thursday night projects and you can try just about any pad/product/tool combo. Anytime there's something new we showcase and share it and let everyone try it out.

I have not scheduled a car for this Thursday yet but we might have a real bad Camaro coming in.

Check out all the other cool projects we've turned out...

We played with a new polish and some new pads this last Thursday on some pretty cool cars...

1963 Impala and 1964 Chevy Delivery Truck - Show Car Makeover Pictures

To finish out just the sides of the Impala we used M101 with Orange Hybrid Foam Cutting pads on the Flex 3401 and then re-polished using the new Gtechniq P2 Jeweling Polish with some prototype gold jeweling pads on the Flex PE14 Rotary Buffer. Then we waxed the Impala with Max Wax Paste by machine.

Hi Troy!! Nice to see you posting again!!

I can certainly feel you on the "Getting burned out thing" in trying to juggle the full time job with the detailing deadlines and the normal everyday responsibilities of being a great parent, husband, friend, brother, son etc. etc.

I definitely got burned out similarly, and don't post nearly as much, or in anywhere near the same capacity as I once did. It is nice however (even if I'm just hanging around the forum) to see an old timer get re-invigorated with detailing and begin posting again.

For me it seems that starting and operating the detailing business was actually just a stepping stone to serving the mobility industry that I am doing now. While I'm still very much interested in detailing and still do a little of it at my shop, most of the detailing I'm doing is reconditioning traded in wheelchair vans and buses. While it's paying the bills, it kind of sucks the passion out of the detailing end of things.

Anyway...Glad to see that you've gotten through the valley and are once again back on the peak!!! Welcome Back!!!
