Join the club!! im sure all of use could spend a day on a brand new car, making it look as perfect as possible, but thats just not in the cards. both for us and the customer. just do the best possible job.

First thing is a full written estimate including a detailed description of paint and interior condition. Make sure they know what to expect after you are done.
And I always like to fill there head with doubt about something I know I can fix. That way when it's time for the final inspection they will be so blown away that you fixed the thing you were most hesitant about. That the rest of the little issues won't matter. It's all about feeling out what your customers major concerns are.
