Help with some ideas for display at a car show
I was asked to set up a table or tent at a local car show and i need some ideas on what i should display to show what i can do.
I was thinking about a panel showing before and after of a 2 step process and maybe a wheel showing the same. Of course going to have brochures and business cards offered maybe with a discount.
This will be my first display so any and all help will be welcomed.
Thanks for your time

Got rooom for a car? Show before on one side and after on the other. Interior, too. If not, how about a scaled down, toy car. You could probably scuff it up, do a watermark wash job, and then do a nice detail to half of the exterior.

how about a 50/50 on a black hood from the junkyard?
Just as effective and easier to work with than a whole car imo.
maybe put some arrows on the before side to highlight things like water spots, swirls, RIDS, transfer, holograms, and dents.
Might be a chance to educate people about the kinds of things going on with their paint and what can and cannot be removed with a correction.
I told my wife that a husband is like a fine wine; he gets better with age. The next day, she locked me in the cellar.

The junk hood is an excellent idea, Tape off areas like before and afters I would do 3 sections
After a wash (To show the difference between a wash and a proper detail job)
After a polish
After a correction and polish?
Maybe a light (depending on what time it's held)to really point out the swirls..
Pen and paper to take some #'s down for call backs.

was going to get a tent but figured having the sun blaze down and show everything would be a better option.
What do you think about some display products that get used?
Great start, any more ideas guys?

A panel to show before and after claying is great too since people love being able to touch things and feel a difference. I would say a tent/canopy is a must if it's going to be warm outside. You can always move the panels into the sun to show sun shots if needed.
Also having a cooler full of water and soda is a good idea. Put some on your table and people will come over just for the water, and hopefully stay for the information. If it's a family type show you could also have a big bowl of candy for the kids. Kids will drag their parents over to get the free candy and you can give them your presentation.
Also you could offer a raffle of some sort, like for a coupon for 50% off a full detail, or a free interior detail with the purchase of an exterior detail. Then you can get a whole bunch of emails and phone numbers from people. Just a few thoughts.

you can have products there but I'd have empty bottles lest they go walking if you know what I mean...
