    Re: Pad washer

Ok, I made one and its good for under $10. Sorry no pics but its ez.
Buy a bucket, grit guard, toggle bolts, a small plastic ball that a 3yr old plays with from the bins at wally world and the lid to the bucket.

Put the ball in the bucket and fill it about half way with water n ur cleaning solution. then put the grit guard on top of the ball. Measure about 1/4 of the way from the top down. drill in the toggle bolts to hold down the grit guard as it will be pushed up by the ball because the ball is basically a floating device to keep pressure going upward. Put the lid on it and carve a nice size cut out for your machine to fit inside with the pads on it.

That's it! Its not the best one ever but it works and for the $$ u cant go wrong. GOOD LUCK

    Re: Pad washer

I did the other DIY one, works great, much better and way faster than washing pads by hand. I can't get them to dry in the unit but I will pull them off the polisher and wring them out and switch to a new pad while that one dries. I used to spend over an hour washing out pads after a detail. now it takes about 5 minutes.

    Re: Pad washer

throw them in your washer with the microfiber wash soap, and set it to hot water. should not be a problem. i just washed all mine that way. then you can throw them in your drier
