How to remove old sunscreen on leather
Hey guys,
I have scheduled a detail this weekend to do a new lexus SUV. The owner is a tennis player and there is apparently quite a bit of sunscreen built up and dried in the car. Can anyone shed some light on how to get it out of leather and such? Will normal leather cleaners and brushes work? Any special products for it?
The owner asked specifically to take care of the sunscreen stains so I would like to make sure I have products on hand to take care of it. My mom's Audi has sunscreen stains but I normally clean them every couple weeks so they never build up and become an issue.

You may gonna have to open the leather by steam cleaning and if you dont have one use a very warm damp microfiber to wipe the material and while still warm take apc and agitate the trouble spots you may have to do this more than once but after cleaning just apply two coats of conditioner with five minute dry time inbetween

Sounds good, I'll try it. I don't have a steamer but think an iron with a steaming feature would work in a pinch??

While it sounds helpful its not best of you an iron for the fact that it burn you microfiber towel and the car seats its best if you use very warm water instead

My Nikon D90 wasn't charged up so hence the no pics.
Sorry guys! Small time frame to do the car so pics weren't a huge priority
