Wax/Buffer stains on Fender Flares..Fixable?
Hi all,
I have a 12' Jeep Wrangler, and I got some wax/buffer marks on the fender flares. I've tried a multitude of chemicals, and they still won't come off. Any tips to fix this?
Thanks
Vito

Sounds like holograms. Got a picture?

It's plastic, not clear coat..Let me snap a picture of it.

There you go. (I know I was supposed to tape it down. Newbie mistake)

Looks like wax stains. What chemicals have you tried?
Have you tried an All Purpose Cleaner and a brush like this:

Tried home remedies (after a quick google), including WD-40
I did try Meguiars APC..but i did not use a brush or spend that much time agitating it.. What was the dilution in that video?

That was straight. I like that APC for the specific purpose of cleaning out wax of stained trim because it foams and is safe on black plastic.
Too bad it costs an insane amount (when you factor in the low low low dilution rates). It can only be diluted 1:1 or max 1:2 in my opinion.

not always safe on black plastic and Meguiars APC foams, but Meguiars APC+ doesn't like to.
If it doesn't discolor your trim (always check in a inconspicuous spot first) it should work however. I just like my foam and knowing I'm safe

I have APC+. I'll try it non-diluted and report back with results..
