Duragloss (TPP) #105 vs (CCP) #111
Ok so a lot has been said here about Duragloss. Has any one tried Total Performance Polish (TPP) #105 and Clear Coat Polish (CCP) #111?
I have a Silver Metallic S2000 that I will need to detail. If using #101 then #601 what should be the best polish to complete with? #105 or #111?

105 is awesome. keeps its look and slickness for about 6 months. top it with aquawax every two weeks during washtime and I know you will love it!

Nope, he used 101, then 105. 111 is the older version of 105, and generaly speaking, needs the 601 bonding agent to perform its best. You can safely use the 105 on its own, as I've heard its newer formula works ok without 601.
If you have just finished polishing and the finish is clean, there's no need for 101 (aio product). You really only need 1 coat of 105, let it cure for 24 hours, then apply it one more time. Maintain with aquawax every month, and 921 quick detailer after the other washes to maintain a great glossy shine.

If you polishes with #101, IMO there is no need for #601. Just top the #101 with #111 or #105. And to add, the next day use #951. You want be sorry!

Sparkie - I'm getting ready for my spring detailing of my white F-150. I was planning on using OP for polishing then DG 601 followed by DG105 X 2. I will be topping this with #16 x 2 then monthly waxing with #16. Are you saying I don't need any DG 601 prior to DG 105? I'm confused.

Yeah, no need for 601 even if you don't use 101. Also, don't waste that shine by laying on thick carnaubas, the 105 alone wil be plenty durable and plenty shiny.

With #16 there's no need for monthly waxing, you pry will end up taking away from teh look of the car and muting it, #16, Collinite etc, are very durable waxes.

Truls is the person with the Red Evo..it came out awesome....
my process the the Duragloss products is to polish ...then I use 101 as the cleaner (cleaning any polish oils) and base coat...use with a finish pad on a PC....it has micro abrasives and will ramp the paint gloss up a bit more...then I apply 105 by hand...doing by hand for one reason..105 has a lite cleaner in it..so doing with a PC may undermine the 101 look from using a pad and random orbit motion combo..meaning putting the cleaner in action....doing by hand you can gently apply and not have cleaners cut in...
601 is used if say your paint is in nice shape..and want to use DG over another type sealant or wax..the 601 will clean the surface of any dead sealant or wax...and lay down a catalyst that will allow 105 or 111 to bond to that surface...the residue of 601 also has a hardner type agent in it to more or less create a hard shell on the sealant...
As you know the 601 does not get buffed off..you apply right over it with the sealant...
you can use AIO the same as 101..but I think 101 is a better AIO type product..better cleaner and better look
