Has anyone ever heard of or used FW1 Fastwax?

I stopped to get gas yesterday and there was a guy selling this product called Fast Wax (FW1) and he used it on a few different parts of my car to show me what it could do. I was impressed, so I bought some. I will try it out later today and see how it works. I have to go out and get some terry towels since I only have microfiber towels. I will post the results later today or tomorrow.

I would remove that link if I where you. While AG is really cool about letting us discuss their competitors products on here, they don't want us linking directly to their websites on this forum (which is completely understandable)

I have used it before. It seems like the guys who sell it rely on independent contractors to sell the product (usually will see them at a specific gas station). All in all it works pretty well, gets about 4-5 weeks protection out of it. I still have some and will use it in a pinch for door jams, mailboxes, etc. I strayed away from it because I prefer either a rinseless wash (DP or ONR) or a safer (IMO) waterless wash than the FW1. It has been my experience that FW1 and others like it rely on petroleum distillates for cleaning, whereas the newer waterless washes (Griots/PoorBoy's) rely on safer methods for cleaning paint.

i also bought 2 cans at a gas station. as i will not use it on my car(one in my signature)i have tried it on my gloss black ranger and it did really well. it attracts dust like crazy though. it does work well on windows and chrome too. as for durability. i doubt it.

Thanks for the information, the salesman said to apply it with a terry cloth towel and remove and polish with MF, that's how he did it when he cleaned the few spots on my car. I have been told to stay away from terry towels because the scratch the car. As for using the product, I will limit it to the rims and head lights. The rims on my Subaru Forester are very hard to clean and keep clean. This product cleaned one rim in 4 minutes and it has stayed clean now for 2 days.

Also, I am sorry about putting the website in my posting. I was not aware that I could not do that, and I will not do that again. I was in no way trying to take business away from AG.

The stuff works really well as an adhesive remover, and the tire shine works really well to clean my hottub cover. I wouldn't trust it on my paint though.

I got a demo at a local 76 station. It seems to work good, but I have a garage full of detailing supplies.

It's prolly good for someone who doesn't mind parting ways with $20 bones.
