    Swirls in Clear Bra

I have a 3M clear bra on my 07 black Vette. I have swirls on my clear bra. Is there any way of getting them out? I have a PC and a Flex3401, but I don't know if I can use them on the bra.

    Thanks in advance

    Re: Swirls in Clear Bra

I've read for the last couple of years of people having good luck machine polishing the 3M brand of clear bra but don't remember off the top of my head the products they've had good success with.

Flexible plastics don't normally tend to like to be abraded with the end-results looking clear and like new, (that's 2 things), so be sure to test first before going over the entire bra.

You can use a very light finishing polish on 3m PPF, if I remember correctly they are cleared (I know Venture shield is) but something like 85rd would work on PPF. I will try to look through my bookmarks to see if I cant find info on 3m PPF as I had researched it a while back.

    Hey Guys,

Thanks for your help. 3M does have a clear.
Shall I do it by hand, or use the PC, or
3401 Flex, and at what setting ?

    Thanks,
    Pete

Fine finishing polish on a DA on med speed should work. Keep a eye on the film to make sure nothing is happening but you should be fine.

I think you will be fine with a polish and pad combination that is not too aggressive even if you have to make multiple passes to achieve the correction you are aiming for.

I have tried a few polishes but I find that Menzerna 203s works great on clear bras.
