McKee's 37 At The Tampa RV SUPERSHOW! (largest RV show in the world)

I want to start by saying I had a pretty amazing last 2 weeks. I had the pleasure of being invited for another episode of competition ready for season 2 and we detailed a beautiful 45ft Newmar London Aire 600hp Diesel Pusher.

We shot the episode at the Tampa Fairgrounds, The Comp Ready team detailed the Newmar London Aire for the RV SUPER SHOW! The Tampa Bay fairgrounds is so large it took us about 30 mins just to find the film location. So just how big is the RV Super Show? Glad you asked.





Yes, that is just the outside, There is also 2 Vendor buildings and a indoor RV SHOW! this is the SEMA of the rv world. If your in the market for RV's or anything RV related this is the show you go to.


So after filming the episode of Competition Ready the McKee's 37 team asked for my help to run the official McKee's 37/RV booth for the RV SUPER SHOW! since I am experienced with the McKee's RV line. my already amazing experience was just about to get better. I could not accept the offer fast enough!


So where do we start? By setting up of course. Me and Nick had our work cut out for us.


We started by putting up the McKee's 37 tent!





We now started to unload the McKee's RV products.







I started to assemble the Racedeck flooring in the tent





The floor was dirty, grimy and dusty from storage, Nick told me to use some McKee's 37 high gloss detail spray since the racedeck flooring is clear coated.

The Competition Ready film crew came to the booth to ask Nick a few questions and to come check out the booth!

The people started pouring in, over 16,000 in the first day!!!!!!

At the show i was excited to see 2 manufacturers and one of those were Newmar, Newmar is known for their quality motorhomes that withstand the test of time.

Roadtrek is a Class B camper van, it is the ultimate most versatile RV you can buy, these can run upwards up to $100,000-$170,000 depending on options.



i was checking out the airstreams, and let me tell you PRETTY AWESOME! Airstream is one of the most recognized brand in the camping world, their trailers have revolutionized camping, and their exterior finish is still timeless!

a very cool option i have never seen rear slide out!



they even have shorty travel trailers!



freightliner chassis was there, displaying what their chassis looks like without a rv on it! and it was so massive and awesome to actually see how heavy duty it really is.

Now above I said i was excited to see 2 companys, One was obviously Newmar, however I saved the best for last, These Rvs are on another level, infact they are so expensive they was not even letting the open public tour them on the inside, it was by appointment only, and the reason being is they can run in the $2,000,000 Price range, so as I walked to the B building I had great expectations not just to view a RV but to view a piece of art. Prevost is the choice of Rockstar's and famous people that travel.

the first view of any Prevost is breath taking, As soon as your eyes gander on this beauty you instantly know, you are looking at a multi-million dollar piece of machinery, I mean we just looked at a 26 foot airsteam for 90,000 dollars, Let alone this. wow just wow.





























The Prevost above was emptied! to show what Prevost starts with, (they let you inside this one lol)











I tried getting the inside pictures through the glass, However they are horrible quality, and actually do no justice of the inside, the lighting alone provided in these luxury coaches are second to none.














Now before I end the thread I want to talk about the paint finish on the Prevost motor coaches.





Before we get to looking at the finish of Prevost, lets take a look at another Coaches finish.





Alot of motorhomes, have this orange peel finish, and this is still on a very expensive rv. (Excluding newmar, Newmars paint finish is right up there with Prevost)


Let's take a look at the amazing paint that the Prevost Has to offer.















I noticed in every Prevost finish, there was an array of different paint! from pearls, flakes, metallics, pearlescent, the finishes, were truly amazing.

Just kidding. That looks like it had to be a really neat event - thanks for posting all the pics! I had no idea that RVs were that nice. No idea. That is too cool.

Edit: Oops, just realized I misread your name tag while looking at on my tiny phone screen. Actually, my phone screen isn't that tiny. But still pretty small to try to read things that aren't being focused on in a picture.

The quality has went up, and so has the price tag!
