Re: What leather Cleaner & Conditioner do you use for Daily Driver and why?

I've been very pleased with CG leather serum so far, but I don't see why any water based spray wax like D156 couldn't be used for protection on coated leather. Optiseal is also supposed to be coated leather friendly.

I currently use Chemical Guys Cleaner and Conditioner, because it was on sale. It works, but I'll probably try Mckee's product or Sonax next.

I like to use McKee's interior protectant on leather if needed. Best part is that it's safe on the whole interior.

This is now my go-to for leather care. I used to simply hit the interior with a protectant and spot clean areas that needed it. After using the McKee's one time, I could see and feel a big difference in the leather surfaces.

    I have a few that I like.

The most recent acquisition is McKee's Total Interior Cleaner, given to me by my buddy Classes Act. Thus is a great little cleaner that works well on all plastic and vinyl surfaces. I have noticed any streaking at all.

I also like Kenotek Vinyl and Leather Conditioner. This is a great product available on a PBMC website. It's an AIO cleaner and protectant.

Connolly leather cleaner is a great cleaner, but you'll need to coat the leather afterwards.

I've used Wolfgang and Swissvax - both great for conditioning.

how does the kenotek smell? i was looking for a sprayable cleaner + protector that didn't have the leather scent. i settled on optimum, cleans well and fresh scent. didn't really feel like it much protection behind

I discovered Leather honey as a great conditioner for older, dried out, leather. Used it on the seats of my 1994 Corvette and it soaked in and really seemed to bring the leather back to a fresher, newer appearance.
