Re: porter cable vs harbor freight da?
I got one of those HF polishers used for $25.00! It was really powerful. I don't recall ever going over speed 4 with it. I did let it go, because I had too many polishers laying around, and the HF too didn't have the fit and finish of the PC.

Call Ray at Autopia. Many times they have open box deals. I've seen them over there for around $75 in the past if I recall.

Re: porter cable vs harbor freight da?
I have a rupes and a hf. The rupes is my work horse. The smoothness and being able to do a panel faster made it worth the $. I'm arthritic so the lack of vibration is nice, and IMO time is money even when you're doing your own cars.
I use the hf for 4" pads or a carpet brush. I just used my hf to polish up some headlights in prep to coat them. As cheap as they are, I've considered getting another to have one dedicated for each of those purposes.

Thank you for offering and considering Autogeek , with a great price guarantee policy, free shipping on buffers, weekly sale prices, and being authorized vendor to the many products offered here is usually a real reason to consider us. Best part .. this forum for best techniques, uses, and help.
