Re: Looking for good new garden hose
Go with rubber, those other hoses snap break, kink, and a pain to move around.
The rubber lasts easy to move around.
Those other hoses are just headaches

Great hose and never any coupling separation that causes leaking from the spigot.

Sears hands down. Buy it once and never pay again. Just don't cut the ends of and don't got there with a shirt with a logo like "Detail World" or something. They won't warranty for "Commercial use"

I have an eight-ply Gilmour Flexogen hose that's as flexible as steel pipe when it's cold. It fights you all the way.
And I have a Flexzilla. The Flexzilla is very flexible, lightweight, and kink-resistant.
If I had to buy a new hose tomorrow, it'd be the same Flexzilla I have now.

I decided to pay the premium for a Griot's Garage hose last year and haven't regretted it one bit. I think they may have discontinued the hose, but it is excellent if you can find one.

They still have them, an air hose too. AG does not carry it....but the Griot's online store has everything...
