But i'd personally stick with what I said and what wdmaccord said (he gave a perfect simple step by step for it)
it will absolutely remove a sealant, its a quality paint cleaner, used it many times

No problem. Try DP Prep Polish too, less cash same result.

Removing BFCS for OC2.0 - need help

You do not need to abrade away a wax or sealant like you would need to if removing a coating. Use a quality paint cleaner that chemically cleans and leaves nothing behind like PBL, and you'll be good to go.

Thanks. Do the paint cleaners polish at all? As in, would I get double benefit by applying with a DAO, or should I do my polishing then use the PSC for final step, applied by hand?

the paint cleaners won't remove any light scratches/swirls. They have no abrasives in them at all.

So, I would recommend your Blackfire finishing polish (to help remove your light scratches), then you could do the paint cleaner or the IPA (or both if you really want to), then Opti-Coat.

I've heard its best to apply a second coat of OC about 30 minutes after. Anything longer than that and you may get a yellowing effect.
