What are ya'll using for work lighting?
I've always used twin halogen tower lighting but have seen a few homemade twin 4' cfl on a tower with wheels. Anyone else use something like this?

In order to receive an answer to your above query:

Re: What are ya'll using for work lighting?
Here's a great thread from Autopia Forums that deals with garage lighting and task lighting. There are a few posts showing some inexpensive but effective light stands put together using photographic products and single diode LED flood bulbs. They work extremely well at showing swirls while working.
Finally a comprehensive review of the best bulbs out there... - Autopia Forums - Auto Detailing & Car Care Discussion Forum

I built the light from the last page on that autopia thread and have been very pleased with it. I did use different bulbs however.
Pm me if you want to know the bulbs I used.

I use halogen lights, it's as close to the sun for light as you can get IMO.
I have three of them, a twin that goes up 6', a single with a stand and a single hand held.
I'm covered
Oh I just bought an LED pen light, has like 3-4 bulbs, I keep it in my pocket
I use the sun anytime it's out, it's the best of course.
