Re: Coatings - Top 3 and easy to apply (first timer) ??
I have used Cquartz, Gtechniq, 22ple, Max Protect & 22ple.
While the argument can be made that they are all easy to apply, when you try Cosmic, your definition of easy will change.

UPDATE PLEASE!!
Thought about starting a new thread but, basically, have the same question. I am taking delivery soon on a new white MB GLC 300 and I would like to start things off with a coating. I am a hobbyist detailer only but have confidence in my ability. I have never applied a coating. This thread mentions one which is not sold on AG but seemed to have a lot of followers. Since this thread started in 2014 I assume things have changed a bit. Will appreciate your comments and I realize that everyone has a different preference. I will go with the majority. Thanks!

McKees paint coating is one of the easiest as it's been said many many times on here

Realistically you are going to want to polish your car at least yearly to remove any marring and minor scratches. With that in mind I'd use mckees paint coat, super easy to apply and one bottle can last year's really since a little goes a long way, with regular maintenance washes it will stay in good shape and if it happens to fail for some reason again it's easy to apply and can be done in little Time.

You'll enjoy it. There's enough in the bottle to do 5-7 cars easily too. Let it flash and feel good that high spots buff away with ease. I maintain mine by:
Washing with Uber Rinseless
Detail Spray with CarPro ECH20 with a couple ounces of CarPro Reload.
2019 Pearl White Accord 2.0T Touring (mine)
2023 Snowflake Pearl White CX-30 Turbo Premium Plus(wife)
2010 Urban Platinum Metallic CRV EX-L & 2014 Mica Black Metallic Toyota Corolla S (kids)

I'm on the same boat as you, yet I used my bottle for that side by side earlier in the week and it's only at half, I've coated 5 sedans, 2 SUVs, and a few coupes. I definitely use more then needed as well.
My wash process has also mirrored yours minus the reload, I use cure and have been very happy with the results. I got the idea from you a Rohan... Maybe rokan.. man can't remember his screen name now.

This is why I chose Mckees. My car is a daily driver. I need to polish yearly.
