I applied #845 collinite week after Christmas and I just applied some of the pinnacle Xmas wax I received. I loved it! And it made my jeep the shiniest I've ever seen it!
So today I decided that I would go with Duragloss and UPGP. I chose Duragloss mainly because of their value and performance. I wasn't happy the first time I tried Duragloss but this time around I'm impressed. Shine is a mile deep on Alpine White. The car has never looked better ever! Afterward I topped off with UPGP, which went on real nice and easy. Application of UPGP is 10 minutes. It's a real time saver. Anyway onto the pics!
Process:
Cleaner: Duragloss 501
Tool: PC7424XP with a 5.5" White Buff n' Shine Pad
Sealant: Duragloss 111 (2 coats)
LSP: UPGP (1 coat)
I use Collinite 476 (the paste wax version of Collinite 845). followed by Duragloss Aquawax after a rinseless wash Also with Duragoss rinseless.
I wasn't particularly impressed with "Light Fantastic" or for that matter Chemical guys XXX Hardcore carnauba wax. The improvement in the appearance was marginal, if that. I'm reluctant to move to high dollar Last Step Product waxes as an experiment.
I should say that Jetseal 109 worked very well on my white, but its pretty wasteful of expensive product to try and apply it by machine. In other words, my objection to it is price alone.
