How to tell when D300 is breaking down?

I began my paint correction on my black Mustang yesterday and this is definitely a multiple day procedure.
I'm just wondering how long can I work the D300 (how many section passes)? And how can I tell when its breaking down?

    Thanks guys!!!

D300 is smat, so it doesnt really "break down". Work time will depend on pad condition, climate factors mainly. Just dont work it to a dry buff.

Usually 5 section passes will be more than sufficient for D300 and a MF disc.

You can get 4~6 section passes then wipe it clear. If you try and work it too long it doesn't wipe clear like it does when it's been worked too long. Just remember when working with the 'system' that you clean the pad a LOT and OFTEN. No such thing as too much air!
