Intuit Gopayment: easy mobile payments and credit card processing..... the service itself and reader is free of charge so you only pay a % per charge I believe.

Re: Taking payment going mobile
Paypal also has a mobile payment system and they say they have the cheapest fees. I also personally like their scan device more because of its design.

Square is 2.75% per transaction and Paypal is 2.9% plus 30 cents per transaction, Square is cheaper

Nope. Check their fee listing.
Paypal Fees
Here is Square's fee list
Square's Fees
Incase someone doesn't want to read the link.
PayPal Here™ card reader:2.7% when you swipe a card. 3.5% plus $0.15 per transaction when you type in a card number.
Now .05% is pretty insignificant unless you are trying to get every penny possible. You can possibly get business discounts with paypal also.
I looked into these payment systems but its to easy to get scammed or fraud with them. Cash is king but I know many people would likely lose a lot of business if they didn't have this option. Anyway I am not in business and just a hobbyist but just wanted to put that other info out there incase someone wanted more options to consider.

I use paypal and intuit.
When you use paypal, your funds deposited immediately into your account. I mean right that minute.
What I don't like about paypal is the transaction information does not show the customers name. It makes it hard to see who has paid you or not.
Intuit takes about two days to deposit the funds. What I don't like about Intuit is some mysterious fees that they charge, will call them soon to find out what they are.
I use both all the time, why two you ask? Well because sometimes one of the two apps will not be functioning properly so I will turn to the other.

Yes you can get business discounts with PayPal as I use their PayPal Here app on my iPhone and ipad mini. I get charged 2.7% for every transaction but I also have a PayPal debit card that is linked to my funds and when I use it I get 1% cash back, therefore I'm technically getting only charged 1.7% for every transaction. I also like the PayPal app since you can have all of your items as products instead of having just a grand total with square.

With PayPal you immediately get the funds. And you get to use them if you have a business debit also.
