But that's according to the owner, not the guy who did the flames. And what's "not a lot of clear"? One coat, two coats, three? And how thick was each coat? You get my point? Without talking to who did the paint you won't know and are left with a guess. It's not gonna kill you to pick up the phone and punch a few buttons - honest, millions of people do it every day, you will survive the experience.

My buddy came by today

Not as bad as I thouhgt, but we have a little work to do.

The flames are in great shape and has tons of clear coat. He uses a California Duster from time to time, but other than that its in nice shape. I'd consider his concerns minor compared to my last black car project.
