    Trim dressing?

My wife drives a 2003 Pontiac Vibe that I maintain as well as my 2007 Chevy Equinox, and I am looking for a good trim dressing. Most of the products I use are OTC (Advanced Auto, AutoZone, O'Reilly's) I just picked up some Eagle One Trim Dressing. Anyone have any favorite dressing that will not run after exposed to rain?

UTTG is about the only one that I can think that will not run in the rain but it isn't OTC!

I have not found A good OTC trim dressing, they are all extremely diluted and have minimal effect.

    OTC, this works for me.
Meguiars Gold Class Endurance High Gloss Tire Gel is a high gloss version of Meguiars Endurance Tire Protectant Gel.

Its pretty shiny, if you dont like that you can buff off after it dries

    Re: Trim dressing?

My wife likes shiny tires on her vehicle. After much searching I have found that the new Meguiars endurance shine meets what she wants in terms of shine, and lasts longer than any other OTC tire shine. Hope that helps.

Meguiars Ultimate Protectant does a pretty good job and doesn't wash away. For tire gel i use Meguiars Hot Shine, also durable and extremely wet/glossy

Meg's Ultimate Potectant is about the best you'll find OTC, but it still doesn't last very long.

I must have been more tired than I thought last night when I wrote that. for some reason I thought you were asking about tires....lol

As for your question I have to agree with most other about OTC products, Megs is your best bet, but don't expect miracles from it.

As I recently did on my F150, clean the trim completely and apply Opti-Coat 2.0 and say goodbye to trim dressings!

Nice for a new car, but if you have ANY fading on your trim the OC will just lock it in, not make it look any better.
