    Disappointing products

While there are some really good detailing products on the market, there are also some not so great ones.

I would like to hear some thoughts and have a good product discussion about products that we were not impressed with.

I always find these type of discussions interesting and fun.

    I'll go first

    1. D151 PRC - Pain to apply and remove and is way too thick. Makes me angry trying to squeeze it out of my secodary bottle.

    2. Mothers Showtime - Streaks and terrible smell.

    3. G110v1 - Two units went out on me in less than a year, loud, ratchety, and the v2 is having serious problems already as well. I'll take a PC anyday of the week.

Its funny you mention the Mothers Showtime. Its weird because whenever I would used it combined with the Mothers Clay bar, it smelled like Big Red Cinnamon gum hahahah. However yes, it does streak like a nasty toilet bowel

On the other hand, as for removing surface materials, i give it an A for sure!

I'll throw Poor Boy's Natural Look into the mix. I got a sample sent with an order because they didn't have any trim restorer left. So I decided to give it a shot on my leather seats. While it smells great it left them looking way too glossy after a thourough buffing and they're almost sticky to the touch. I'll stick with my 303 thank you very much.

Leather Stuff is their leather care product. I wouldn't use NL on my seats.

I was using it on a rotary with a wool pad, maybe that made it easier to work with.

I partially disagree. I think it works great, but like you said it's super thick and sometimes troublesome to get out of the bottle. Performance is great though.

    This is a good thread.

I disliked most of the TW ICE products. Their interior cleaner and wash weren't bad though. Not the best, but not the worst... more on the average side.

    Re: Disappointing products

i would have to say cobra microfiber towels. IME after a short while, they lint very badly to a point where i just threw them away (it hurts to do it and is like throwing $'s away). while i would like to purchase some more, i can't bring myself to do it considering the cost (they aren't cheap) as well...
