Chemical Guys New Car Scent. Similar products?
Hello forum I have been using Chemical Guys New Car Smell now for about 2 years. I like it and the customers seem to like it, I have had compliments about it never a complaint. The last gallon I ordered was on amazon for $25 now it's $49.99 so I figured I would ask if there is anything on the market similar to this product, available in a gallon. I feel like they raised the price on the gallon or something but I'm having a hard time paying $50 for that product.

None that smell like real new car, like CG New Car Scent does. I have tried Griot, and I have smelled others with "new car" scent. CG New Car actually smells like new car.

I can't believe I haven't seen this before! I'm tired I using and cleaning up waffle wafers from my truck...lol Where do you spray it and does it really last for weeks, like they say?

Really? Interesting.
I too would like to know how it is applied for the best longevity. The wifey didn't like the smell of Meguiars New Car Scent air refresher so I'm looking for a suitable replacement.

to me it is very chemically smelling. I have used it for 2 years now on a old used Titan( my previous truck) and a brand new silverado and i can say that it smells like a new car yes. A little overwhelming if you do too much. Spray on carpets and under seats. Lasts at best I would say 2-3 days. Might last longer but that's my experience with it

I spray it into the intake vents of the air conditioning and run it on full blast 15 minutes. I also spray the headliner. I think it lasts as long as any alcohol/water based fragrance. Oil based fragrances last longer, like Dr. Beasley stuff.

I never liked the "New Car Scent" Air Fresheners. They just never smell like a new car to me. I do like the smell of the Poorboys' World Strawberry Air Freshener.

3D has an odor eliminator the smells like green apples. It can be diluted with distilled water and i do just that. i found 1 part product to 2 parts water, in a small 2-4oz sprayer in my glove box or center console for a quick spritz is great. the only real odor ever in the car are kids or dogs and it covers them up and i use it so sparingly but it still removes odors and smells nice.
Back to the full-time grind.
