    gasket dressing?

    A morning quickie......

What's the general consensus on a product to use on door, hood, trunk and window gaskets to keep them soft and supple. Years ago I used to rub Armor all into them, but that's not in my detailing arsenal anymore.

    Many thanks and be well...............elliot

Armor All is what I use. I have never seen Armor All dry out rubber like you see ppl claim on the interweb....Works great IMO

I usually use a straight silicone spray to keep them from drying and cracking twice a year. You can use a rubber and vinyl dressing if you want. I think it's over kill IMO. For a clients car, I just make sure they are clean.

It's very rare that I apply anything at all. Just clean it real good and let it go
