Both products are paint shop safe, it's my understanding that 3M Imperial Hand Glaze is non-abrasive or in other words, in and of itself it offers no ingredients intended to abrade the surface. This would be a non-abrasive glaze or pure polish.
Kind of makes sense because it's used to glaze the paint after the work is done but before the customer picks up and sees their car, like M07 Show Car Glaze or M81 Hand Polisher, both are non-abrasive pure polishes.
This is why I recommended the M09, it will provide some very light cleaning to remove whatever was applied to it.
We hope to see some pictures of your bike after you get it all put back together.
