Good points Mike. Tempted to order this and try it on my Makita, but will probably take the safe route and use my trusty 7424xp.

Is FG400 a reformulated FG500 for US market? FG500 is my favorite compound ( zero dusting and really finishes very well ).

New product with better and faster cutting, less dust and more gloss compared to FG500.

porta's correct. I have FG500 and find FG 400 cuts faster, for the most part zero dusting issues, very long buffing cycle and finishes out like a polish.
