Rupes pads compared to Lake Country ccs pads
I've started with the Porter Cable 7424xp and just recently ordered the Duetto. For the pads just to make sure(error on caution) I do things the right way and I'm going to order the Rupes foam pads.
My question is in terms of cut and finish is there a direct comparison to the Lake Country ccs pads?

Forget them both. Get yourself into a nice set of Buff and Shine. They have outlasted everything else I have used.

Have you used those pads with any of the Rupes polishers with no problems?

There's no real direct comparison. The foams utilized are different. I've used Hex Logic (green, blue), and Lake Country Hydrotech pads on my Duetto, but got better performance from genuine Rupes pads.
Lake Country HD orbitals we're designed for long stroke machines. I would like to try them some time.

I have. The Buff n Shine pads stand up much better than the LC ones I have.

I think you are rushing to conclusions, LC makes awesome pads. And there are several product lines to choose for. I would never say forget about LC pads. My humble opinion, of course.

I like the Rupes pads and the new thin Meguiar's foam pads. Both have worked great on my 21 and Duetto. I'm still trying to figure out which I prefer more.
I don't have issues with using other pads (CCS, Flats, Hydrotechs, BnS foams) the entire polishing experience is just "smoother" with the Rupes pads.
