Anyone have experience with CG hex logic pads?

Has anyone use the CG Hex logic pads? I have a DA and looking at getting some pads and I'm leaning towards these. Anyone have experience with them good or bad?
Are they ok for a beginner?
If there are more beginner friendly pads what would are they?

    Thanks

From my experience they suck. They soak up allot of product. I had the pad sampler and ended up selling them

Sent from my SCH-I605 using AG Online

^^ really? I have all of their colors and have been using them since i got my PC. They do just fine for me. They get the job done.

As for the OP, i had them ever since i got my first PC so i would assume they are beginner friendly.

They work, but yeah soak up a ton of product. Probably use 1.5 to 2 times more product ime.

Me too - I have 3 types of pads. The hexlogic from CG, the pads that come with the M105/205 kit from AG, and the pads that come with the Flex 3401 kit from CG (not sure what brand but they aren't hexlogic) - so far I've found the hexlogic to work extremely well, no excess absorption for me either.

OP- as far as CG goes you will find on the AG forum a visceral hate for everything CG so you will have to take some of the comments with a grain of salt.

While I haven't used ALL of CG's products the ones I have used at least work as advertised. So far the only CG products that haven't worked for ME are the wheel cleaners. Everything else is gtg as far as I'm concerned.

IMO they are a very good pads. I've used them on PC, 3401 & even rotary. I like them a lot. Other pads similar are LC CCS. Many prefer hydrotechs on the Flex 3401. I do like the hydrotechs. All pads are 5.5".

I have the 4" self centering pads. I like them a lot. CG pads are made by Buff and Shine out of the same foams all their pads are made of. So, there is no reason the would "suck up" more product than any other Buff and Shine pads.

I think they are very good pads. Likely a little more durable and resistant to delamination than LC pads. But, pads are pads. Unless your using a different material (open cell foam vrs closed cell foam vrs microfiber) there really isn't a ton of difference. Its much more important to have enough pads and keep them clean.
