Uro - cell pads

Hello guys, have you ever use uro-cell pads from B&S? I have a PC, so i wonder if this pads are good, or what is your recomendations...

The are decent pads. Wouldn't be my first choice for a PC, however. For foam, look into the LC Thin Pro or Griot's BOSS pads.

PC is relatively low in power and will have power to fully maximize URO-Cell foam. You will need rotary or a force DA to fully draw it real ability out. For PC going to low pro will provide better cut. Will not recommend thin pro as it is to thin and will have lots of problem get into tight curve and conclave area.

The PC is underpowered. The Uro-Tec pads are great, but they're too thick for a PC to spin them efficiently.

uro-cell pads are great if you can get them dirt cheap. They are probably the least durable pad available and unless you can get them on BOGO, or $4 per pad they just aren't durable enough to justify buying. With just a PC I would recommend starting with a few maroon low-pro's as well as a few uro-fiber pads. That will pretty much cover everything unless you're working on really soft paint.

Also, I really recommend buying a harbor freight and a griot's 5" backing plate

Buy the griot's 3" backing plate to use with you PC7424.

The Uro-fiber pads would be a better choice for that machine. I'm not a real big microfiber pad fan, but I do really like these. I use them on any Rupes 15 Mark II, Flex XFE 7, and Rupes mini. Maybe someone on here has tried them with a PC and will chime in.

Agreed. Although, the HF is not quite as smooth and louder than the Griot's 6", it's definitely more powerful, and half the price. PC is a wax spreader.

If I could only have one tool for everything as of right now it would be the gg6. The harbor freight is loud, obnoxious, and vibrates way more than the GG6. But for the price, the HF DA is hard to beat.

I completely agree with you on PC7424xp . Even trying to use it to spread wax I think I have to use speed 4.5. Speed 1-3 is virtually the same thing and speed 6 sounds like the tool could spontaneous combust at any moment.
