    China Pads VS the Rest

Recently getting back into detailing... noticed these hex pads on eBay from China that are very inexpensive. What are the big differences in these and the current ones sold on this site, other than the $$$.

You get what you pay for. They're extremely low quality. The density and construction between pad colors is almost impossible to distinguish, they delaminate very easily, and are so thin that the product soaks through the entire pad very easily(and results in faster heat build up IME) I have a set of them that I bought in order to be able to speak to the poor quality without just guessing. The hand applicator pads and clay towels share these same traits.

Support the companies with great customer service, knowledge bases, and forums.

I have them and as said before I cant tell the cut to the polish pad besides color, as soon as u use it its instantly flat. after a wash they are basically trash. I ended up cutting them all up to use on my 2 inch, use them once and toss.

I personally don't like hex pads. You lose a ton of product in the grooves and they get over saturated very easily. Flat pads for me, Buff and Shine or LC.

What kind of answers did you get when you posted this same question on the Chinese inexpensive hex pad detailing discussion forum or the eBay detailing discussion forum?

Some guys on the FB groups swear by it and claim is the same as what we use under name brand...
Another guy did a test (name slipped my mind) but he did side by side...Clearly he China pads use crappy abraisives..As cut difference is dramatic.

I've saved pics I'll dig it up, may have his name too

FREDDIE CRUZ was the guy that performed the test..I'll upload pics in a few
