Beginner Set Up
Hello Everyone,
I have been a member on this forum for a while but this is my first post. I recently purchased a Porter Cable 7424XP and Chemical guys V34, V36, V38, Butter Wax, Jet Sealant and Chemical Guys Orange, White and Black pads. I plan on doing paint correction on my car this Friday. As a beginner, are the pads/polishes good to correct my soft paint and are these pads safe to apply on my car (Mercedes Benz)?
Thanks for the replies!

Re: Beginner Set Up
I think you are good to go on soft paint. Mercedes ceramiclear will be different. Make sure you list out a process you will execute, use test spots to lock-in pad, product, pressure and pass count. You won't be 100% perfect the first go-around so don't expect it. Take things slow regardless of the duration and I am sure you will report back some successes and learnings. Pics do wonders by the way. :-) Good luck.
