Re: Meguiars new thin pads or LC flat pads

I will say I bought the thin cutting pad and really loved the way it performed with my gg6

Meg's thin pads work great on the GG6 and even the long throw polishers. I reach for the maroon pad much more often than my MF discs because of how well they cut and the finish it leaves. The polishing pad is a dream to work with also. Super soft and smooth.

Whatever you decide make sure you get a 5" backing plate so you can use 5" or 5.5" pads--much more effective, less expensive and easier to work with than 6.5". I use 5.5" Buff & Shine pads with my GG6 and they perform very well and are very durable.

The new Meguiar's pads are great. You may want to pick up a couple of their microfiber pads as well just to have in your back pocket.

The new thin cutting pad works really well and finishes down nicely.

Re: Meguiars new thin pads or LC flat pads

Jeff Brown is doing a write and sent me some info on using the BOSS pads with the GG6. Apparently it makes the GG6 like a totally new animal.
