Wool is your most aggressive tool in your toolbox. I have tried several different ones including the PFW, but my favourite is the black wool from Tuf Buff. They cut great, last a long time, come in several different sizes and do not shed! Wool can be very messy, especially one like the 3M white wool: they're awful. The TB's rule!
No, but your quest should be for the very best product, not just what's available at only one store. Just my opionion. AG gets a lot of my business, but not all of it.
All I know is that wool can remove 1500grits wet sanding marks. I don't know if the most aggressive foam and compound will be equivalent.
Can someone clarify which one sheds more, the synthetic/mix wool or 100% wool?
I always thought all fibers shed a lot unless it gets treated prior packaging/shipment. i.e. I own Meguiar's W4000 7" wool pad and it sheds a lot at first but very minimal or unnoticed now after couple use.
