    surbuf pads and finishing?

    Ok I got a question for anyone that's useing/used the surbuf pads how many of you have used them for anything other than cutting which i think there great Or should I say used them to apply wax ect? Just wondering haven't seen much talk about it

    They wouldnt be any good for waxes. I have used them as a one step on a daily driver with Meguairs UC it finished really good

    I wouldn't use them for waxing. They have a little cut in them which could mar your paint depending. Also the little fibers get everywhere. I use the for polishing only so I can wash away everything before applying LSP.

    Surbuf pads are usually used if you need a pad that has more cut then an orange or light cutting pad.

    YESSS you did richy I had checked it out when you first put it up.. I gotta bump that post just for the incredible work you did on that omg!! And for me anyway 2 things came out of that post lol one ordered the surbuf's, the other this I gotta really thank you for. I took serious interest in 'Duragloss' products you still doing work for the funeral home by the way?

    Oh sorry for all the babbling and thanks for answering everyone. But the question I guess was more to see what else everyone did with them Idk its like every time I pull a pad out of the box there it is the "magic" fingers and there ability to polish,add/remove wax ect. Just Wondering if anyone actually does anything other than cut I've come close to lsp ready and feel confident I would be able to if I spent more time using them only have twice but?
