What to use underneath 6" MF Bonnets

On a Flex DA and a PC7424 DA, what can I put underneath a MF bonnet to support the bonnet? I like something with strong support to make removing wax easier. what do you use?

I heard a dense cutting pad does well.

AG sells a velcro backed lambs wool pad that they recomend for the purpose. It works very well.

which one offers a good stiffness? i have found that a stiff underneath (not too stiff) removes wax better. would you agree and which one is better?

The key to removing any wax or sealant by machine is to first... use a product that is supposed to dry, removing WOWO products by machine doesn't work very well.

Next is to apply a very thin coating...

If you use a product that dries and apply a very thin coating then it will remove very easily by machine.

I own a Flex and a PC and have bonnets but nothing to put them under. my choices are the lambs wool or a pad. Which one is better? I need to use them for cars and boats.
