Anyone used them? I was wondering if they would work well to clean plastic headlight lenses.

Please ket me know your thoughts on them. They look like a nice pad for a small difficult to reach area.
Sigh wish I was closer to Florida as I would like to attend the meet.

Re: Meguiars Easy Buff Knitted Wool 3 Inch Pads
I used one on the 1969 El Camino Damp Sanding Project with a rotary and it works well, kind of like the 4" Purple Foamed Wool Pad except that it's attached to a thick, foam buffing pad as an back-up interface.
Long, fiberous pads don't work well with tools that oscillate very well. Solid mediums like foam are better. The long fibers just collapse and bend and dissipate all the energy from a DA Polisher.
The Meguiar's Spot Repair Pads are being targeted INITIALLY for use with rotary buffers. You can of course use them with DA Polishers and we have a video coming out showing them being used with a DA Polisher to remove a Bird Dropping Etching.
Hang on and I'll share some pics on this topic...

Mike:
Thank you for the in depth answer. I have a couple of the FWP and like them a lot. My next order will include this pad. I need to check this weekend to see if I have the small backing plate for my Makita.
Sigh mo money for a hobby I enjoy.
