    Griots Fast Finishing Microfiber pad...

WOW, WOW, WOW. I'm seriously impressed. I used this pad today with some Griots Complete Polish(yellow bottle) to remove some micromarring with my long throw polisher. First thing is that the pad just glides on the surface. I started with some pea sized spots of polish and fired it up on speed 5. Polished a couple foot area and added some more polish and continued. After doing one corner panel on my car I took the pad off and there really wasn't any caked up product. I expected the microfiber to be all soaked with product and matted down. Walked over to the air compressor and fluffed it up some just to be on the safe side.

The nice thing about using this pad is it seems to get the small stuff that a foam pad just kind of floats over and misses at times. This isn't a finishing pad on dark colors. I think of it as more of a light cutting pad. Followed up with a finishing pad and brought the gloss up a bit.

I wanted to give an update on the MF pad. I was using this on a long throw polisher over some curved sections on my car. I tipped the machine a bit too far and the edge hit the flat portion of the hood. Left a couple a scratches. Kind of scared myself. They polished out. Just be careful as the edge will cut.
