    New/Improved LC CCS Pads

They look pretty interesting. Looks like LC took 1/8" off the thickness of the 5.5" pads and tapered/beveled the edges. Looks like a ThinPro now (one of my favs) with the CCS face. Not sure when they were released, but I plan to pick some up. I liked the old CCS until I tried the LC ThinPro's and found the slightly thinner ThinPro was more effective and easier to use than the original CCS. Now that the CSS has lost some weight (grin) could become a favorite again.

If anyone has tried the new ones, please let us know.

looks like the original flat pads have been improved too, thinner and the velcro cut/recessed in as well. wasn't a fan of the older ones (too thick and the velcro was extended to the outer edge), it's nice that they have been upgraded to how the the thinpro pads are now...

I thought I remover seeing a thread about how these pockets/dimples are actually a hindrance using DAT liquids as once you work through cycle of product on surface of pads, the stuff "stored" in the pockets remains to be broken down. Something like that anyway. Dunno, never used pads with pockets.

That's what I found when they came out with all the hype. There is always untouched polish stuck tin the pockets. They seemed to saturate quicker too.

And if my memory is correct the CCS pads came out before Megs started the whole SMAT thing. For some reason I remember them being marketed to work on the harder ceramic clear coats that were coming out at the time. The polishes were also being marketed as such at that time.

    Re: New/Improved LC CCS Pads

I have the CCS pads and use them with my PC7424XP I use the 4" Pads. I have never had any issues with them and they work great. I just reloaded on the 25% sale a couple of days ago. I don't kno if they are the new design, howevr, it doesn't matter. They are great!

I recently heard the H20 pads are also getting an update as well, anyone confirm or deny this?

I have to give LC credit, they keep plugging with the CCS pads although no one seems to like them (save a few people).

I like that they went back to the green foam instead of the pink. It seems much more resilient.

The CCS are great pads. I love the way they feel while polishing the paint. Nice smooth action.
