I would get both LC HDO and BS low pros
Opti Hyper wool wouldn't be bad idea
3d light purple may not be bad either

The Meguiars 5" MF kit, comes with the necessary backing plate and the mf pads in the kit are actually 5.5" (not 5")

That backing plate will not fit the swirl killer.

Gotcha... I didn't realize Adam's called their long stroke polisher the Swirl Killer. Catchy.

Here's the link to an article I wrote about pads for the RUPES long stroke polisher, some of the info in it will or at least should apply to any long stroke polisher as my guess is most of them are modeled after the RUPES design.

The Air Test - Using NON RUPES pads on RUPES Polishers by Mike Phillips

Like others have suggested, look at the pads by Lake Country, RUPES and B&S that have been specifically designed for use with long stroke polishers.

The longer stroke at high speeds tends to stress the foam, the backing and the velcro so "yes" there is something to pad design.

What pad size do you recommend? 5inch or 6inch
