    Good to know.

    I think he prefers using a wool pad on the 3401 over the grey pad.

    Agreed. It's misleading when it says it's a cutting pad, because in warmer temps, it becomes a polishing pad.

    what would be the go to pad in warmer climates? (just trying to be prepared)

    I just picked up most of the BOSS pads and the heavier cut B&S Low-Pros. The white and orange BOSS ones and the green and orange Low-Pros are all very firm/stiff.

    Someone said the BOSS pads soften up after use. I've only had the chance to try out the white one on my trunk and it didn't seem to soften up much in the short time I worked it.

    The only time it was soft was when I was washing it with hot water afterwards.

    Lake county hybrid pads

    The B&S Low Pro green and orange pads are some of the best foam pads I've used with the 3401

    Yep, use it with the Flex 4 3/8 bp and you won't use the Hybrid system again.
