In my experience this would be overkill

The CarPro blocks now come with a slit on the side to tuck the suede into, very handy.

I usually use both sides of four 4x4" suedes on an average car.

I wipe off with the 16x16 CarPro suede, followed by a fresh new MF towel

Have a one gallon bucket of water with 2-3oz of APC handy. Throw your used towels and suedes in it immediately after use. I have not had any harden up on me using this method.

Make sure you have great lighting, so you can easily see high spots and areas you missed. The overhead lighting in a typical garage is not sufficient.

Sounds good. Perhaps add Iron-X to decon the paint, wheels, etc.

    Congratulations on the new truck!!
As AGOatemywallet mentioned good lighting is extremely important. Also checking for high spots from several different angles. A good work light that you can use by hand as well as on a stand is great for the sides of the vehicle.
What color is the truck? Some colors are more difficult to see high spots than others.
