Black Diamond tire gel
I ordered some Black Diamond tire dressing and... was having problems applying it to my
tires. I searched the forum and now have a question. Should the gel be "milky" or
"clear"? I wouldn't say it's like water but i was surprised how thin it was. Probably would
have just kept using it if it wasn't for finding others who recieved "bad" product.

Re: Black Diamond tire gel
Mine was Carmel/gray in color and when I put it on the tire pad it stays in a line, like mustard, I wipe in with one swipe of the finger (in my glove) and put it on the tire.
Used it today. They say a little goes a long way so that is the way I used it.
If I am wrong let me know but the results are pretty good on the tire. I just used it on my daily driver today and the wife’s car last week. Put two coats on her vehicle as it does not get driven but once or twice a week. 2 coats did look a little better.
Thanks

Re: Black Diamond tire gel
Hey bobbyG, my tire dressing looks the same as yours. This is probably correct. I will use
the tip of rubbing the dressing into the applicator with my finger though. Good tip!

After posting my photos I took yesterday afternoon I also sent a PM to Meghan pointing her to this thread and also the apparent non-gel solution many of us have been discovering. I asked if this is typical of what they have in stock there and if this is what the product should look like, loose and separated..
As soon as I hear something I'll post it here...

Re: Black Diamond tire gel
I have 2 gallons of the wolfgang and mine is clear. It is the consistancy of syrup but more on the clear side. Hmm... I would like to see what AG says. I dont care, mine is working just fine but am now just curious.
