Re: Wolfgang Sealant 3.0 vs spray sealant
the liquid lasts quite a bit longer, the spray sealant is more of a booster however it can be used alone just more frequently say every other wash. While I have heard no issues using it over a carnauba, sealants tend to not cure properly over waxes and your likely are reducing its durability more.

Thanks KillR!
I do have to take a moment to say that you are quickly becoming one of my favorite members! You always have a fast answer to my questions no matter how elementary they may seem to a more experienced member!
Thanks again.
I was liking the idea of using a sealant for my "New car" detail package, but wanted to do it right. Meaning giving the product ample time to cure. On a new car I think the paint would benefit a good seal rather than a carnuba wax job at first. Then maybe by the next wash throw a wax on. (Which brings to mind, does sealant wash off with auto soap? )
For my quick wash customers I was thinking a SOWO wax but thought they would get more out of a SOWO sealant...

Re: Wolfgang Sealant 3.0 vs spray sealant
some love me some hate .. just read the other forums. (smiles)
I think most spray sealants will likely last a couple weeks to about the amount of time some carnaubas would but likely the quick on/off nature might turn off some customers. With a liquid sealant as easy as Wolfgang (or Four Star UPP my fav) you should be able to getter done in no time anyways. Remember its not the amount of product used, infact less is better. The biggest part of a sealant working properly is a nicely prepped finish to adhere and cure to, and no water introduction for 8-12 hours to set properly.
