Buja Reviews - Wolfgang Füzion Carnauba Polymer Estate Wax

ok, this review is long overdue, and I see not many have tried this wax out....so here it is...

Item: Wolfgang Füzion Carnauba Polymer Estate Wax

Ease of Application: 5 out of 5 stars. (Think original p21s easy)

Removal: 4 out of 5 stars. (maybe because I applied too thick on some areas. but still more forgiving out of all the waxes I've tried)

Method: WOWO. this is a very wet wax, have a few more mf (than usual) on hand.

Shine: Insane wet gloss, deep depth, sharp reflections. made my 4 year old car look new.

Durability: Tested to date 5 weeks. still going pretty strong. (3 normal washes with Gold Class 2 bucket method and gilmour foam gun) + ( 1 ONR) , no QD or spray wax in between. Just wash and pat dry.

Slickness: 3 out of 5. Amount of slickness not as crazy as other waxes like 1000p (think hard thick clear coat illusion) . but then, who's beaten 1000p in that aspect.
I would say this is not Fuzion's forte, but who knows, maybe layering it might do well. (which I never layered)

smell: light strawberries. (lighter smell than Natty's red, i find nattys red too strong and sweet)

overall: I love it love it love it. this is the wax which I find works well and add something , even on non prepped surface. The Golf I did it on, only had a Gold Class wash, and one coat of fuzion wax. It was in desperate need for a good strong clay (rough surface) . Fuzion wax left deep sharp reflections , though the surface still felt gritty not slick. (i had no time to do the claying).

Evo didnt have full paint correction either. just a normal paint cleanse (non abrasive).

also note that as with all wolfgang products, they are all have sheeting properties rather than beading.
and frankly speaking, i prefer sheeting, beading just leaves the water on the surface and will cause bad water spots under hot bright direct sunlight.

and as some of you know, it is my top number 1 wax. It is my number one because it meets all my expectations in all aspects, not just on one (eg. looks).

    and now for the pics.

this wax is goof proof and you'll definetely not regret it !

personally, i feel hybrid waxes are the way to go ! (eg. '53, 5050)

Great write-up, the car looks sick!

Removal should be as easy as application, so I think you did apply it too thick....the key with these waxes is THIN THIN THIN application. Removal will be nearly effortless, and you'll get ~40 applications out of 1 jar, so definitely work on that.

As far as slickness, it is not as slick as WG Sealant or 4* UPP since it is a paste wax, but it is quite slick for what it is IMO. When it's time to re-wax, try claying first and you'll notice a huge improvement.

I, too, was very surprised at the durability of this wax. I realistically get 4, maybe 5 weeks tops out of something like Souveran or P21S...I had Fuzion on my car for ~2 months and it was still beading/sheeting strong before I stripped it and re-waxed (car needed to be clayed badly).

hmm no love for my evo ?

yup, i might have overapplied (in some spots)
as you can see in the wash bay, the lighting is not perfect at some angles.
so its pretty hard to see at times whether its been applied enough or not.
i've bought a hand held led torch for this purpose now

It amazing how little you use and how easy it is to remove WOWO. Your hood shots are simply delicious.

Thanks for all your comments !

yup its a very wet product and it travels far.... so yes usage is very little, and im loving the wide mouth jar. prefer it more than the souveran sized jar. no big complains about the lid, it seals tight like a fresh 18 yr old for me

As a current Evo owner I think yours looks great! I know the graphite grey has a lot of flake in it. How did Fuzion mute the flake, if at all.

actually to be honest, i've never really noticed any muting of flakes from any LSPs.
theres never any in my case, if any muting has ever happened (from any other waxes) , I have not noticed any before. or maybe just that the flakes on my car are too ferocious

and some ppl might not agree with me on this one, but souveran didnt really mute my flakes. but then again, who knows, as my metallic is really very strong
