Fuzion or Deep Gloss Paint Sealant?
So I just received my Fuzion Monday and also received a sample of the DGPS from a member on another forum, which he insisted I try. I had planned to do the whole car with Fuzion but since I had the sample of the DGPS I figured I do a side by side to see which I liked better. I was blown away at how smooth and slick the DGPS left the paint feeling! Unfortunatily it was dark outside and I couldn't see a difference between the 2 in my shop so I opted for the DGPS based on it's slickness.
My question is; are any of you seeing a difference between them on how they look? I will be using it mainly on my Milano Red TSX. I had previously used Supernatural, which looked very good, but it didn’t have the slick feeling of DGPS. Aslo, durability means very little to me.
I plan to do some test panels on a black hood this week but wanted to get feedback from other users.
FYI, I have a problem with tying new things!

How about a test area of DGPS topped with Fuzion? Seen a lot of impressive details on here with the WG sealant topped with a carnauba.

Yeah, I tried that in a section and it takes away the slickness that the DGPS has.
Besides, I'm not 100% sure I believe you can actually top a wax with a different wax without remove most if not all of the first wax.

Well a sealant is not a wax it's a polymer synthetic protectant. Also not all carnuaba waxes contain cleaners (at least enough to remove other waxes or previous layers).

Sorry, I may have caused my own thread to go off topic…
I understand the difference between sealants and waxes. My point is that the process used to apply a wax or sealant will have some cleaning affect whether the product has cleaners in it or not. Does water have cleaners in it? From my understanding it has not been proven that layering is even possible. I'm all for applying 2 coats to ensure even coverage but at some point you’re simply removing the previous coat of wax. There was a thread started over on MOL discussing this a while back...to me it just makes sense. To each his own though. If you feel you achieve a better finish by topping then please continue to do so.
So I took a QD over my car today to remove some light dust…I love this DGPS! It’s so easy to QD now with almost no resistance on the finish!

I'll have to test them out tonight. I did the whole car last night with DGPS and only a small spot with Fuzion.
I'll do a side by side on a black hood tonight. I will say the Fuzion was easier to apply and remove, that's for sure. Smells yummy too!!! Is it safe to eat?
I did notice the next day in the sun, after applying the SN, that it had a what appeared to be swirls, but it was from the wax. Sounds like it a common problem from the email I got...."pooling effect of oils which can sometimes look like holograms." (Dodo email)
It did make may paint look very nice though.
I'll post my findings tomorrow.
