The right prep product for Profi
I am exploring putting the Profi ceramic coating on my black 2010 Toyota Avalon. I understand that prep is critical and I want to understand if I can use my existing product of Paintwork Polish Enhancer instead of Wolfgang Perfekt Finish Paint Prep. They seem like they are the same, but I need advice before I spend the money on the ceramic coating. Thank you.

Never used that product but pick up a panel wipe such as CarPro Eraser, Optimum Panel Prep and you will be good after the polishing step.

•Paintwork Polish Enhancer, among other
not-friendly-to-Coatings attributes, contains
‘fillers’; which makes it OK to use before
applying Waxes/Sealants—not Coatings.
•With that in mind:
-I’ll bet a Dollar to a donut-hole that
they are not the same formulation.
•As such:
-I’d go with Wolfgang’s recommendation.

Wolfgang Perfekt Finish Paint Prep…”

Re: The right prep product for Profi
I would polish the paint surface first and then use the Wolfgang Perfekt Finish Paint Prep to prep the panel before applying the PROFI Coating.
Wolfgang Finishing Glaze 3.0 16 oz.

Wow. Thank you. As I reread the Polish Enhancer, you are correct. Thank you very much.
