    Re: Wolfgang Uber SIO2 spray...

I tried misting some water on the towel and spritzing the towel with product and that seems to have solved the problem. Must be a pretty concentrated formula.

This is how I apply any SiO2 spray product. I dont apply any of it on a towel by itself.

You spritz water on the towel and then spray on the towel?

Damp towel. I mean spraying water on the towel does the same thing.

I will say that the Uber SIO2 spray is seriously wet looking. Maybe it's cause I tried 3 times to get it right. I'll report back when I get to 25 coats

    Re: Wolfgang Uber SIO2 spray...

I never saw the call out. Sorry. I have only used the spray twice. I didnt have issues with streaking; at least that I can tell on a white car. I wash with WGSiO2 wash and blow dry. Then I use WGWW to the panels when I dry areas with a towel.

When I do the WWSiO2 spray I dont use the WGWW. I just washed mine again today and its in the garage waiting for a application of WGSiO2 spray. Ill look closer. I am constantly shaking the bottle. More of a nervous twitch than anything. LOL!

    Re: Wolfgang Uber SIO2 spray...

So I put it on yesterday afternoon. I DID (comfirm) have some light streaking on some panels. Not all. Hood, rear quarter and one of the front fenders. Since my process was the same I either had "something" in my buffing towels or there is something on the paint that didnt get washed off. I think my hood streaking was attributed to over application of the product thought. The other panels...not so much.

    Re: Wolfgang Uber SIO2 spray...

I think the streaking is a characteristic of the SiO2 infused sprays. I've had streaking with Cure and Elixr. I've not tried the Wolfgang spray.

The only way I could avoid the streaking is to use far less than I imagined and to not directly apply it to the surface. I also have to go back and buff it off, some times more than once. These are not wipe on-walk away products like some of the older products.

    Re: Wolfgang Uber SIO2 spray...

I wonder if the streaking might not be the carrier agents. I washed my car after applying Wolfgang SCC and had an oily looking type film wash off the car in some spots.
