Of all the detailer sprays I've tried and used in my life, I'd definitely say with no reservation, Crystal Mist is in the very top two.

Only one other small factory product I used years ago from Nu Look in Chicago, I think was called "Spray and Shine" wowed me. I knew Frank D'Amato the owner, and knew how he loaded many of his products to death with pure Carnauba.

Crystal Mist IMO does everything right, goes on right, comes off right, and leaves a perfect knock your eyes out look.

Plan is to follow up with 2 coats of fuzion

Is this the vehicle that already has
the two layers of Wolfgang DGPS?

    If so:
Why would you put two layers of a different
    Sealant—and a “Hybrid Sealant” at that—on
    top of the DGPS?

I can’t fathom the benefit from doing so.

Pittpens, your paint is sunning. Keep in mind though, the more you play with it, there's the greater potential every time you lay hands on it of creating sleeks, and swirls. I might be inclined to skip Fuzion. I might think it will take away from that candy apple wet look that WGDGPS provides.

I've used it, know how it works and looks. And I didn't suggest Crystal Mist for nothing, it is a fantastic one-two punch that won't detract from the WG Sealant.

Yes it is. I'm just following what was recommended to me on this site. Polish, Wolfgang dgps and then Wolfgang Fuzion wax.
I'm confused - thought that wax was the topper for the sealant. Same family

As I mentioned to Bob, I thought you always had to top a sealant with a wax. Wolfgang fuzion came recommended to me as a topper. The crystal mist is just a QD isnt it?

It sounds crazy but maybe you want to test an area with two coats of Füzion before going all the way in. I recall old posts where some didn’t like the look of the two combined as much as either one on its own. Some would say Fuzion mutes the the WGDGPS shine and WGDGPS underneath lessens the Fuzion silky glow.

That’s not to say some didn’t love the look of both. Just something to consider if the two coats of Wolfgang is jawdropping. The choice is yours and there’s always future details to look forward to.

After reading these posts, that is exactly what I was planning of doing. I'll do an inconspicuous test spot. Definitely do not want to lose that glassy look I have going on now.

One thing I did notice that I am not too fond of is the static the car. Especially on the black, it will be a dust magnet. It's mostly on the fiberglass spoiler. What kills static?

Re: WGDGPS how many coats can be layered?

Keep us posted on the outcome. I have WGDGPS on my M4 and I would top it with Crystal mist as QD but would top with McKee’s Fast wax every 2 months. The sealant is 11 months old now. A few months ago I put Fuzion on it as just to change it up a bit, looked slick. Will most likely put a new coat of WGD in Sept to get ready for winter.

The Crystal Mist might help some in that regard as far as static.

One might think it odd that I liked the Pinnacle Crystal Mist over a Wolfgang product, different family supposedly, but is it really?

Which might bring up an age old question, are all, or at least many of the Palm Beach Motoring Group's House Brands manufactured under the same roof?
