WGDGPS cure time?
I put WGDGPS on my boat about 45 minutes ago and it has hazed a little but still wet. Do I need to wait until it fully dries before removing? It's 67 degrees, I figured it would be dry by now.

There's a difference between
"drying time" and "curing time".
With WDGPS...
You can go ahead and buff it ~30-45 minutes
after you've applied it to the entire vehicle.
(Basically: it doesn't dry/haze.)
And, since WDGPS is water sensitive...
It needs to be, and remain, moisture free
for at least the next 12 hours---its curing
time period---in order for it to best achieve
its characteristics.

Thats not what the bottle states. Good to know though, thanks.
IDK why it attached sideways.

Re: WGDGPS cure time?
I always wait at least a half hour before wiping off any sealant.

Re: WGDGPS cure time?
I was always advised when you slide your finger tip across a small part of the panel and the sealant/wax comes completely off it is time to remove it. Worked for 10 years for me so far. This usually takes 30 mins or so.

Re: WGDGPS cure time?
I have used WG DPS many times and it has already been ready to wipe off after you have done the entire vehicle. This has been done at various temperatures and 67 is not too cold. I just use the swipe test is to test a spot to see if it removes cleanly,. If it still will not wipe cleanly after 20 minutes, I would guess one over applied or something is wrong (like did not shake well). The secret to application is to not rely on the ability to see it clearly coating the paint. You need to apply thinly but evenly. The evenly aspect is done but going over the area multiple times.

Re: WGDGPS cure time?
I believe that not only temperatures will play a part, but also relative humidity as well. That higher humidity will slow dry-cure times.
I've found WGDGPS 3.0 a very easy product to remove, doesn't get much easier than this one, but if it seems like it is working you more than it should, or not appearing to be coming off clean immediately, it surely wouldn't hurt none to let it sit an additional 10 minutes or so.
When I've applied this product, I usually make note of the time on my watch, start applying, do the walk around with application, then come back to where I started after the prerequisite cure time and remove in the same order .

Re: WGDGPS cure time?
It was finally ready to remove after about an hour and yes I tried the wipe test multiple times and finally looked like it was ready. And yes Mark, it was very easy to remove, and smelled good too, banana I believe.

Sure hope you can now keep it moisture
free during its 12 hour cure-time.
